Owner & Lead Tattoo Instructor
The owner of the World’s Only Tattoo School and lead tattoo instructor is Dr. Bill Pogue. He is a retired doctor of chiropractic and certified naturopathic physician.
The World’s Only Tattoo School is dedicated to providing professional hands-on tattoo training in a fun interactive workshop. Our tattoo artist training workshops will teach the artistic student to apply a safe and clean tattoo, as a form of artistic expression. Students learn the skills needed to become a professional tattoo artist.
Intensive Training Workshops Available at WOTS:
Master Workshop
18 Hour Intensive Workshop
This 18-hour Intensive Master Workshop teaches all the basics required to learn tattooing.
- Drawing Flash Designs
- Aseptic Techniques
- Machine Contruction and Adjustment
- Lining
- Shading
- Coloring
- Held 3 to 6 times per year for $5600.00. This includes all equipment and Louisiana License, if desired.
- 6 free retakes at your convenience.

Open Floor Practice Sessions
- Open floor practice, here at WOTS, is open all year. FREE to those who have passed the Master Workshop. This is not done in any sequence or continuity.
- Private instruction available as needed.
- Students are encouraged to recruit customers, consults, design tattoos, patterns, and perform tattoos under supervision. Required to comply with various state hours and procedure requirements of state applying for.
- Each state is different - students need to be cognizant of what their state requires for licensure and be prepared to comply with their state laws in which they reside.
- Louisiana body art permit requires taking American Red Cross courses in CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen. Their classes can be taken in one day-long sessions held a various American Red Cross facility around the United States.
- Louisiana body art permits can be issued for a licensed body art facility and cannot be transferable to another facility or generally cannot be transferred out of state. *Students must be aware of their state's laws.*
Apprenticeship
If your state allows or requires documented apprenticeship, we can provide that in our licensed body art facility. Apprenticeship is FREE to those who have completed the Master Workshop. This is similar to the open floor practice but also includes sign in sheets and procedure logs for FREE, as required by the state you are applying for.

- $1,500 – Sat & Sun 9am-2pm
- Secrets to success in the tattoo industry
- Extensive instruction in tattoo business procedures including step-by-step guide to opening a shop, working in existing shop, buying a shop & many other approaches to the tattoo business
- JUST business training, NO hands-on tattooing
Rotary Tattoo Machine Seminar – Add to any tattoo workshop
- 4 hr instruction
- $195
- Training on usage of rotary machine
- Includes one (1) rotary tattoo machine
